Specialized Transition Front Mech Cable

I recently bought a Specialized Transition Pro frameset and I 'm having a nightmare with the front mech cable. I've put the new outer cable into the correct hole and it seems to hit a stop somewhere in the BB area but I can't run an inner cable through the frame with the outer cable in place.

Anyone here fitted one and could tell me how far the outer is supposed to go into the frame??

    I have one. The outer doesn't go far into the frame at all. A few inches should do it.

    I would feed the inner all the way through FIRST - then stuff the outer into the hole afterwards.

    Thanks for the tip, after much lost patience last night before I read your post I tried again today and it worked pretty much right away. Hope I never need to do it again though! :roll:
