£700 to spend in Halfords

I posted a while back that my wife's 08 Fury had been stolen, well we've now had a voucher for £699 for Halfords to get it replaced.

If you had £700 to spend there what would you go for? Boardman, Voodoo? Mainly going to be general XC riding but with some trips to Afan, Cwmcarn etc.

Hoping to find a store that still has a 16" 08 Fury in stock but I doubt there's many left now :(

    Norwich store 821 has some 08 16" Fury's in stock, get your local store to call & arrange to courier one over.

    voodoo wanga looks the mutts nuts, and the boardmans are excellent value. have you seen the carrera titan hardtail for 1000 biggies? looks STUNNING...

    I'd have another Fury. Though I'd wait for the price to drop.

    It's just dropped to £599 and you can get 3% quidco cashback.

    Yeah Voodoo Wanga does look sweet (probably my face option of the bikes they have on their site), would just prefer 120-130mm travel up front really.
    Thanks Salsa, will get on it and try to get one of the 08 models sorted. Should have a nice bit left over for a couple of upgrades too :D

    Another Fury is the preferred option, but we'd prefer to find an 08 as it's cheaper plus comes with a Tora U-Turn.

    Otherwise I reckon it'll be the Wanga or an 09 Fury.

    I'd get the Boardman Comp. reduced to 629 right now, the best bike you can get with the voucher surely.

    The voucher excludes Boardman bikes, which is pretty shit tbh.

    But not to worry, as we've now got an 08 Fury arriving in our local store this Wednesday for the bargain sum of £399.

    So, £300 for some upgrades 8)
