Hello,
I heard that the original windows movie maker had many decent editing effects, such as slow motion and fast forward. I really want a free film maker and this sounded good. Is there somewhere i can download it from? or if there are any other free film maker downloads that are good?
Cheers.

You may already have it, depending on what OS you have... it was an automatic download with XP SP2/3 - search for moviemk.exe on your machine.Vitus Sentier VR+ (2018) GT Grade AL 105 (2016)

I think the very latest version has been released today.

the version of movie maker that ships with vista is built into the os and cant be downloaded, although there is version 2.6 that you can download if you cant run MM on vista upwards, but i dont know what effects it has on it. MM is pretty pooh though, cheap and cheerful. You'd be much better getting your mitts on a version of premiere (of any flavour). The dissenter is every human being at those moments of his life when he resigns

WMM was successively dumbed down into the latest Live incarnations but I believe the last standalone 2.6 Vista version runs fine on 7. suck it and see. it's pretty much the original xp 2.1 ' classic' but still a little dumbed down, so ymmv

The last version of windows live movie maker was actually surprisingly good. I haven't tried this one that's just been released in the last few days though0

I only want the editing capabilities of speeding up or slowing down footage. the current Maker is good, but that is the only reason I want to find the original (i dont know what its called).
Are there any other free film editing software downloads that can speed up or slow down footage?'Mountains cannot be moved, mountains have to be conquered'
