Cheers Andy i new it was near that price do you think this is a good buy0

I dunno tbh. I've not been following the specs and prices of new bikes much.
just doing a quick compare with 2 that come up a lot around this price:

Nice finishing kit as well as good fork.

(was much better value when on sale, not so now by the looks of it)
I'd probably say the fork is a huge let down on the Cube. The drivetrain with SLX and XT is alright though, and a few other good points on the spec.0 -
I's rather thave a good fork than shiny drivetrain. the difference between XT and lower stuff is mainly just a few extra grams, the difference between a good fork and a bad one is night and day. (I went from a bike with a Suntour XCM or XCT, can't remember, to a Reba Race!)0

Cheers lad thanks for the help. I have looked at so many bikes and want to get the best i can for my money. Nothing worse then when you have got one people tell you "you should of got this one" want to find out the most i can before i buy one.0

Are the suntour much better then Rock shox Dart and what the difference between the rock shox Dart and rock shox Recon.0
-
The Rockshox Recon is a bit stiffer and has better damping. And now you know, and knowing is half the battle
