    Yes, after watching the race this morning I was rather hoping to see that thread updated today! I guess events elsewhere have proved distracting.

    I suppose it's quite possible that both the mens & womens TT champions could do the double and bag their respective road races at the weekend as well...

    I think Pooley has a much better chance than Cancellara. In fact, I make her favourite.

    So would his performance today. He finished 23 minutes down on the leader. He may have stopped to smoke a joint before doing he second lap. 8)

    Interesting, I would have though Leontien van Moorsel too. But no. She only did the Olympic road double once
