Womens TT SPOILER!
Great ride from Pooley. I guess it was her sort of course.
Longo 5th. Not bad for a 51 year old!
Was there really only one british rider?

She did a great ride. Well done.0

I bumped into the womens GB team at a service station and I know you know this, but she really is tiny!0

Super stuff, well done her0

I knew this was going to be her year since she started getting great results with Cervelo.
Will be interesting to see what happens on Saturday. She was annoyed with her performance last year, where she did too much work early on and was unable to go with the decisive break 2 laps from the finish.0 -
I'm chuffed to bits for her! First British medalist at the Worlds TT since Boardman and the first ever for a British woman.0

Congrats Emma, I hope you get the full recognition you deserveCAAD9

Millar also won in 2003 but was then promptly nabbed for dopage.0 -

Lets have no mention of doping please on a thread congratulating Emma on a fantastic and well deserved win. Well done Emma!
Positive vibes only todayIt’s the most beautiful sport in the world but it’s governed by ***ts who have turned it into a crock of ****.0 -
Go Emma!
Member of my club(VC Norwich) what more can I say, we are not worthy.
She has come out for rides with us and she is a great person, happy to chat and not at all like her reserved self on camera.
If only I could TT half as good as herNorfolk, who nicked all the hills?

He's watching the Eurosport coverage (on now) and thinking it is live. At the point Pooley came across the line Longo was sitting in 1st place.0 -
Weeeeeeeeeeeeee go Emma!
I'm still impressed by Longo, she's old enough to be mother to everyone else in the race and she gets 5th place and just 7 seconds away from 4th.
So close between Arndt & Villumsen.
Ooops, yep, I'm watching Eurosport.
I hadn't seen the results, so it's as good as live for me! :P
I'm standing up & singing the national Anthem now!Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.0 -
That's great, made my day! Glad I waited to watch the highlights on Eurosport. Well done Emma, awesome ride!0

And did the BBC report it? Barely, once in Breakfast and then nothing at all. Just kept showing Murdoch's daughter in law stuffing up an Australian TV show! WTF??0
