Delivery to I has bike time?

Hello there,

I'm just after some experiences with your orders of new bikes with shop pickup. I ordered a bike last Thursday and It seems like I will get it this Thursday. The guys in the shop said that it's to be delivered to the shop today and it should take 2 days to build it.

I assume they are busy atm as 2 days is a bit long.

So, any experiences welcome! :P

2 days seems reasonable. They will have more than 1 customer I guess,planned services,staff holidays etc

Sounds about right if they are ordering it in. They probably have other bikes to build as well.

Jeez - I have seen stories of weeks going past.

And if you ever buy a custom bike - double the lead time they give you. You wont be far off then...

Yeah, I'm not saying I have a potential horror story here, just asking around.

Normally it only takes a day to build it but it takes a whole extra day to pump up the tyres.


It's your fault for ordering wheels with the bike.

Oh man... but hey, I will stay positive through this adversity and think "at least my wheels will be pumped up".

Did not know it takes a day to pump them up - learn something new everyday, huh?

We aim to get bikes to customers ASAP. Generally they get done ahead of workshop jobs, the bulk of which are services on heaps of junk. Building a shiny new bike is more fun and gets done a bit quicker!
