Claud Butler anyone

Still on trail of first road bike between 800-1000. would claud butler strada carbon be any good ? Any ideas would be appreciated

I'm sure it would be perfectly fine - but what do you actually want from a bike though?

I wanted tiagra shifters, carbon forks, triple, cheap as possible and got a 2010 Trek 1.5 for £720 which better suited my personal requirements.

You're unlikely to get anything bad from a major manufacturer for that sort of price.
