Marzocchi XC700 SL's Cartridge

I have a set of Marz 700's which I have managed to break the Schreader Valve off the bottom of the left hand stancion.
contacted Windwave who said I have to replace the whole cartridge (around £100)
I have seen this cartridge for sale on Chainreaction http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=2199 and wondered if this would fit?
also how should you strip these forks down? put a 12mm deep socket and unscrewed the botl, that appears to have broken the valve, not sure how else to strip them down!!
