Campagnolo 10 speed cassette with Shimano Ultegra

With winter approaching I'm looking to get together a rear wheel with an old tyre on it that I can use specifically for the turbo. I've got an old Open Pro rim with a Campagnolo Veloce hub that currently has a 9 speed Veloce cassette on it. If I swapped the 9 speed cassette to a 10 speed Veloce cassette would it shift well enough with the Ultegra mech on my "summer bike" for turbo duties?

You can get Campag-Shimano converter cassettes by Miche, BBB, Mavic and Marchisio.0

Google is freakin' ace!
I found this doing a search on 'covert cassette shimano campagnolo'

May be worth giving them a bell, they can make exactly what you want!0 -
I'd found that one, but the price is significantly over budget.

This looks more like it, but can't work out if it will only work on Mavic M10 hubs rather that shimano ones.0 -
If it's over budget then you are probably best buying a shimano freehub for the campag wheel...0

Does any one know if these 10 speed cassettes can be adapted to work as a 9 speed cassette?

Those Marchisios are more expensive than buying a cheap wheelset!
I found this guy who does alternative spacers to run Campag cassettes with Shimano spacing. Looks like a bit of a phaff though especially if the Campag cassette is held together with rivets

I'm beginning to think the cheapest/best solution is just to buy a cheap wheel set off fleabay and flog the front wheel.0
