how to protect frame

Ive just bought a new bike and what do folk recommend protecting the frame from scratches and cable rub with?

helicopter tape and rub patches.

rub patches anywhere the cables touch your frame and helicopter tape on the down tube and anywhere you feell you may get bashed

helicopter tape is a strong single sticky sided 3m tapebs

Helicopter tape, use it for rub patches as well as you can cut it to size. eBay for the Helicopter tape.
