Tacx Antaries. Can't fault them one bit. Don't go for resistance, you can use the gears for any sensible range of resistance.

2nd the Tacx, great rollers. I've also got a Fork Support Stand on mine, handy to have as i can use the rollers with or without it.A Brother of the Wheel. http://www.boxfordbikeclub.co.uk

I recently bought the Antares, they seem pretty good, but even on my TT bike with 56/12 gearing I find the resistance quite low. They're fine for the easier rides I'll be doing over winter but I was hoping to do sets of 2*20s on them in the build up to next season and the only way I'll be able to get to the power range I need for those will involve spinning well over my normal rev range.
I've had a quick google and it's been mentioned you can get a resistance unit to fit, but the only thing I've found is the Tacx T1350 which seems to be out of stock and unavailble everywhere. Does anyone know if it's possible to add resistance to the antares please?0 -

Thanks, yes I think that's the T1350 I mentioned, everywhere else I've looked says that it's no longer available, I forgot all about Evans! I've sent them an email to see if it's still possible to order, hopefully they've got a stash of them somewhere...0 -

Not half as great as the satisfaction of reading a thread properly!0

I picked up a set of Elite Ghibli Parabolic Rollers today.
Being new to rollers the turned up edge helps keep the wheel in line if i get a bit out of shape.
Had a quick go for an hour before i went out for tonights ride, pedalling on the road felt wierd after sitting on these for an hour.
I did feel better for having a nice warm up tho.
One thing i did notice was that it was a little more uncomfortable on my behind when on the rollers, don't know why that could be, i'm always comfortable in my saddle on the road.0 -

Been using the Tacx rollers for a couple of weeks now. Like them better than the Turbo. Can't rate them against other rollers as it's the first set i have owned. Make you sweat well0

I have a cycle ops folding one. it's good set up but I wouldn't recommend it. In retrospect, I'd get a solid frame one, I recommend large drums. "Sgt Pepper", those Ellite rolers with turned up edges are cheating . you have to lean to do it. It's no fun if you haven't ridden off the edge whilst clipped in lol.
these are mine.
