Hi,

Does anyone have this coat?

How does it compare to the Gore Bike Wear Oxygen Gore-Tex AW10 Jacket?

The Mavic has pocket but the Gore doesn't.

The Gore has a pocket where you can store the jacket in? Does the Mavic have this?

Does the Mavic fold up?

Bought the 09 version from Hargrove cycles. Couldn't comment on the new one but they look identical.

Appalling, so sent it back. Leaks like the titanic post iceberg. Not very race fitting either.

I rather like mine. It has some nice little features like the double main zip that offers a vent function and I am a big fan of the pro cuff. I have found it to be pretty good at keeping me dry and the fit is excellent for my body shape.

It does not have a special pocket it folds up into however I often roll mine up and carry it in a jersey pocket although I don't think it is designed as an emergency jacket so it is not ultra compact when rolled.

I have no idea about the Gore jacket but I am sure it is pretty good.

Does yours not leak? i feel cheated.

One think I did like is the double zipper for ventilation.

Everything leaks eventually or else you get soaked in your own sweat.

I have finished rides involving heavy rain and been slightly damp under the jacket (maybe rain, maybe sweat. I didn't taste it to check) but certainly not wet. It is better than every other rain jacket I have had.
