You'll need to know if your stem clamp is a 25.4mm or oversize. I would guess it's a 25.4 but I'm only guessing.0

A simple tape measure around the bars diameter in the centre are probably a fair indication.0
-
First thing you need to do is measure the diameter of your existing handlebars at the point they clamp into the stem - they will be either 25.4 or 31.8 mm
The bars you're eyeing up from Chain Reaction are 25.4mm, so they will only fit directly if your current stem/bar setup is 25.4mm
If you have a 31.8mm stem/bar setup, then you will need to either find a 31.8mm handlebar in orange, or use a shim with a 25.4mm handlebar - something like this:

From what I have gleaned from a quick Go-ogle, the 2008 & 2009 Fury had 31.8mm handlbars.
The 2007 looks like 25.4 ...
Best to measure yours yourself - no need to be massively precise as it'll either be roundabout 25 or 32 mm, which is easy to judge just using a tape measure or ruler...0 -
Cheers will measure it tonight, in the mean time i have got this pic of the bars

D'oh, I can't view the pic from my work PC ... damn damn damn damn damn
Perhaps somebody else here can help you with the rise question, otherwise I'll check back when I get home from work ...0 -
To me your original bars look like they're 25.4mm0
-
I've a feeling they're oversize bars as my old lights don't fit on.
If the rain goes away, I'll go out and measure them for you.0 -
-
yes fury needs over sized bars 31.8mm0
-
Another vote for 31.8. The bars look like they quite a bit larger towards the clamping area,so I think it would be safe to assume 31.80
-
Hi all cheers for this I can confirm that it is a 31.8
With this is mind will this stem fit?

No I am afraid - is 25.4, and the spacer is for stemheight.
Unsure why you want to change to heavier, more expensive stuff unless you are a heavy, hard hitting rider. The existing stuff is pretty good. I'd be saving for a new crank.0 -

No other reason than that I am a tart :-) and I like the orange0 -
Lol. If you get a 25.4 stem then sure, 25.4 bars will be fine.0
