    She's not. It clashes with the European Championships which is more important as it counts towards Olympic qualification. (see also Hoy, Chris).

    Nah, my partner would prob. match her on the track given the same training/facilities. I'm not joking as I've seen my gf hold the derny pace at 50kph and she can go from further out in sprints. She has given a number of track and road wannabees a scare with her sprint and her ability to hold a wheel. Also good looking imo and a great cook.

    Beautiful though she is (inside and out it would appear), Vicky P wouldn't be much use keeping you out of the wind in a sportive!!

    As an aside to show how track cycling has gone up in the public's imagination, I got the video of the British Cyclosportive that I took part in back in 2007. She presents it and there's a classic bit at the start where she's doing a few startline interviews and some geezer rides past with an empty energy bar wrapper, passes it to her and - thinking she's just one of the organising team - says something like "could you just get rid of that for me?"

    Bet that wouldn't happen now - he'd be asking for a signed photo!
