Had a weird one today.

I was sitting with my bike having a coffee on a park bench and tramp came up, commented on how nice my titanium frame was, then discussed the merits of carbon fiber, Reynolds steel tubing, and SRAM Red over Force.

Weird

what did he see as the merits of red over force, out of interest?

I like this man already :P (I thought I was doing well for odd encounters but I only managed an enjoyable but very strange conversation with a man in an electric wheelchair who stopped to discuss the merits of converting a good pub with its own courtyard into desirable 'mews.')

He said he would go for Force as Red was too much more for too little gain in performance.

He also informed me that SRAM have been recruiting electronics experts, and hinted that this was to take on Shimano Di2
