Bikeradar TV

Just wondering if you think there's a market for a Bikeradar TV or internet channel, or just a regular 30 minute slot on a channel somewhere. This site seems to have lots of regularly refreshed content with lots of effort to generate stories, etc that could be shown on TV. Wonder what the cost would be and if there's a market for it, would we watch it?

There are probably a few hundred active members, most of the posts are Sheepsteeth and Yeehaa being silly.

Seeing both of them online in their respective parents basements, in their underpants, would probably not make for great TV.

...and then there'd be Nick's Workshop slot.

    I'm liking this!

I suppose the people that work for the mags or on here would need to be a bit photogenic and have good presenting skils. Interest in all forms of cycling is on the up, I'm sure there would be interest in it.

Not sure photogenic applies to SS and Nick

I'm getting visions of that amateur TV channel they had in 'Wayne's World'.

  • We could also have Yeehaa offering up some home truths...you know the things that we all think (but don't say so the forum peace is sustained) but he says (so the forum peace is bust wide open).

'Yeehaa's Home Truths: Don't like what I'm saying? Then *&£% off you tosser!'

    I think it could work.

There's no way I'd watch a 30-minute TV programme but a 10-minute podcast featuring some of the forum's 'personalties' would be unmissable.

Maybe broadcast it during the 16 hours a day of Pro Bull Riding that Extreme broadcast each day.

And just why do they skiing/snowboarding stuff during the summer and MTB stuff during the winter? Inspire me to do something now...not 6 months away!

Rush HD might be a better option.

    it would be AMAZING!
you could have SS giving genuine advise, and thoughs on MTB in general, Nick doing some workshop stuff, and sheeps, yeeha, and the other crudcatcher reg's making some "enlightening" but controversial comments... and then have a slot with one of the more prolific members showing you round their local trails, a kind of ride section... with the ocasional slot from MissBint and Kitty and the other forum Laydeeeezzz... with some, err, attention grabbing articles
    I like bikes and stuff

I'd prefer some live on scene action at a bike park on a black run- standing with a camera and berating everyone who crashes with name calls and score cards -and replay slow mo.
