Best is a strong word.
But from what I have felt and read they are a pretty safe bet.0 -
The Truvativ Noir (also high modulus) at around £60 is definitely the best in terms of VFM.
170g. Been trying to brake them all summer to no avail.0 -
I think they are the best, for whatever thats worth!A Flock of Birds
+ some other bikes.0 -
I just got a one from Merlin for 60 quid, I haven't fitted it yet.
make sure you are happy with the length - 610 is plenty wide enough for me, but not for everyone. It was that or an EA70 for 45 quid (that was before CRC got their low rise stock in for £35..0 -
I bought some FSA Carbon Pro's off ebay new for £30.00...not the lightest but appear super strong and look cool....they were brand new from an on-line shop...(pic on the Giant below)0

Now that i've changed back to alu bars... I've decided I don't like carbon ones. The feel of them is a lot different. (I had monkyelight CNT).
Yea they soaked up a lot of trail buzz, but it made the steering/control feel very vague and unconnected.0
