The conditions where i ride are turning into a cackfest of thick mud and rivers and stuff, currently use white lightning wet ride but everything sticks to that like a mother, any idea what will stay on the chain all day through mud and rivers but not attract everything?
Am i asking the impossible? :P

finish line cross country wet ( green bottle )
will last even the mudest , wettest conditions but will pick up some crud.
quick wipe clean with cloth and you're ready to go again tho.0 -
I use Weldtite Dry Wax (Halfords Drywax with Krytox is exactly the same). Apply little & often, & wipe off excess by running chain through cloth to remove dirt attracting stickiness residue.
Dry wax lube is excellent, if you are prepared to properly apply very regularly.
I am anally pedantic when it comes to chain…
Regularly scrub chain/cassette/crank/gears with strong solution of diluted Fairy washing up liquid, then scrub off with hot water; then proper degreaser solution bath using cheap chain cleaner device (spray on degreaser is fine), leave a few minutes, then scrub off degreaser residue with hot water. Dry chain thoroughly by running through absorbent cloth, & simultaneously bending chain links to be thorough. Leave for a while to fully dry.
Then meticulously apply a single drop of Dry Wax lube to each internal chain link, then spin chain a few times to penetrate; leave for 30mins or so, then run chain through absorbent cloth to remove excess lube.
Or you may choose to do like many, just spray chain with WD40, GT85, etc, after every ride…0 -
