Just bought a trek 1.2 frame to build up as a winter bike. Does anyone know if I will have to use long drop brakes or will standard drop fit.

Cheers

I've fitted 25mm sks thermoplastic mudguards on my GF wsd 1.2 trek if that is the basis for the question. A fiddle ( not unexpected) but plenty if room. I'm watching Spooks so I can't measure them at moment!

    Hi kevbh

I have and 08 model and yes you need long drop brakes, standard will not totally clear the tyre at the back.
