Heading off there in a few days.
Sad as it is, but i'm always keen to pop into an LBS when away, and stumbling around with a kickin hangover, 1st thing in the morning.
I have googled but only seem to find mountain bike shops (I've never had a hangover that bad to make me go in there) so, are there any roadie shops in Krakow?

I was there last year and hired a basic front suspension MTB from a local shop in the main square. Be prepared for leaving them with some proof of identity and you should be prepared for leaving a photocopy of your driving licence or similiar. I think there was a couple of better shops away from the centre but I stuck with the MTB and as it was 35degC most days i didn't do a lot of cycling mileage. However there are good cycle paths alongside the Visitula River and some reasonable back roads to the salt Mines (about 25km). The roads can be very busy and apart from the new ones are not always in very good conditiont. There is a lot of general cycling in Krakow and the traffic is pretty sympathetic but there are also a lot of tram lines to be wary of. I saw very few lycra clad cyclists but would certainly go back to this lovely city.0
