York C201 - Which programmes?

Hi all,
I've just bought an exercise bike in order to keep my fitness levels up over the winter nights. I'll still be going out on my mountain bike at weekends!

I also want to lose weight, my stomach podge.

Anyway, my exercise bike has several programmes that you can do but doesn't really explain what the differences are. There are a couple of weight loss programmes but in addition there are fat burn programmes, interval training etc.

Can anyone advise on which of these I should be doing? I did P4 Fat Burn last night for 30 minutes and got about 12 miles.

Appreciate any advice! The machine is a York C201 Anniversary if it makes any difference!
