I'm thinking about buying a Shimano Deore Chainset M590 but I can't tell whether or not it includes the bottom bracket? Do I need to buy one or is it included?
I currently have a truvativ isoflow on my carrera fury and it's getting a bit knackered

It's an HTII external bottom bracket, so you'll need a new one anyways if your current Bottom Bracket isn't external as well.0

Have a look at this - £30 more but better and includes BB.

Even if it was external it would not work as they have different axel circumferences.0 -
Not sure if that CRC ones does come with a BB - it doesn't list it, however, the merlin ones does:

The only problem with the other cranks suggested is that I was hoping to get one of the 26/36/48 chainsets. I use my bike to commute to work which is typically ~50/50 road to rocky trails / fields / small streams but when I'm on the road I top out because I can't get a high enough gear ratio..
If the extra 4 teeth on the 48 is unlikely to make a different I'll go for the SLX though - presumably that's something I could add later with a single outer chain ring?0 -
comes with the hollow tech 2 axle and bb cups which are fantastic.
bottom bracket is included - accoring to one of the reviews.0
