The cameramen (ITV, I believe) were on a tea break and missed the frame, which caused an outcry as a 147 was a rarity at the time.

Going back to O P , if he'd asked at outset what the cash for a 147 was and didn't like it he could just have won the frame - century break? - and then missed the next short - out of position etc. - couldn't he?

He wanted the 147 just was an a*se getting it.
