From Evans Facebookwe're currently working on the Cannondale 2011 range, getting it ready to put up on the site. Hopefully we should have it up in the next week. They won't be in stock straight away but will be available to pre-order so you can be one of the first to get one as soon as they come in.
I think that translates as "we don't know either"“New York has the haircuts, London has the trousers, but Belfast has the reason!0 -

One would like to think so but when I tried to buy a 2010 model in May 2010 Evans told me that most of the range was discontinued.
That would be about right. If you consider that you want no stock left in your supply chain by about July as the new range will be available in September then running out in May is maybe a tad early but not excessively so.
Aren’t they moving production from US to FE? If so, that would explain the particularly early clear up of stock and also why they may be having teething troubles getting new stock to market.0 -
Why would you want to buy a Cannondale from ANY year?0

Cannondale definitely had serious supply problems for 2010 models which I was told was due to moving production to the far eastThe UCI are Clowns and Fools0

Well I'm defo getting the SuperSix 105 in matte black..I've been trying to get an idea of weight then saw this statement...
"WEIGHT: Don't see a weight listed for this bike? Wondering why that is? Well, we used to list our weights based upon medium or 56 cm frame and err on the side of caution when we know there will be variances due to welds, paint thicknesses, etc. But some of our competitors are weighing their small or extra small frames and rounding down. Then you're left wondering what's going on and making important buying decisions based upon faulty information. That's not right.
So because weight is too important to you as a consumer, we encourage a healthy bit of skepticism over published weights. Go to your local dealer, see it, feel it, weigh it and test ride it for yourself. We're that confident. You should be, too."
I'm reading that as it's a tad heavy if circa 8kg is heavy these days??? (based on 2009 8.2kg and this is 200g lighter i beleive) but should ride real nice and with some decent lighter wheels will put it back amongst the lighter bikes out there at similar prices....?
...mind you that Caad10 looks nice too..!0 -
My LBS is geting 2011 stock in weekly from Cannondale, Trek and Specialized.
But, I spoke to him about a women's Aluminium Synapse with Tiagra for the other half a few weeks back and he showed me that deliveries of some models will be late November or December. The other half ended up walking out with a 2010 Trek 2.5 WSD with Ultegra which was well over budget!! :roll:0 -
Evans now have the full 2011 range and relaese dates for Caad8, Caad10, Synapse & Supersix and Hi-Mod if you have mental money to spend...
Supersix 105 looks very good value again, don't know much about 105 rims though..
The Synapse also looks very nice indeed, esp the Sram Apex colourway (not that i'd buy a bike on colour alone you understand...erm) looks intesresting...Wonder how Apex would compare with 2011 105?
Any comments on any of the range and specs listed?
