Just come to my computer and the printer was stuck in shutting down mode, so I did the sensible thing and turned it off and on again, now it is stuck doing nothing, nothing on the mini screen and the blue LED by the momry card slot is stuck on. Its a HP PSC b109n if that helps
I'd ring tech support but they aren't there and mrs G is freaking because she needs it to print her display work out for school.
Cheers peeps

Bloody HP. We got a printer on lease from them. We phoned them up on the first day we had it to complain it wasn't working, they said it was an obsolete model and that it's no longer supported
Can't help with the printer, sounds like it needs a psychiatrist, but can your other half not print out her work at the school?0 -
yeah she's going to, but she has a 5 quid a month photocopy and print budget. Because she's new she doesnt know how far that will stretch each month, and its easier to do it at home because I run a CISS on the printer. I had an epson one that gave up the ghost after 4 months recently too. Typical though, I sold my old HP one that had ran for 5 years no problems last month, cost me 30 quid to buy and got 15 back for it0

AH!!
It's not the CISS playing up is it? I know years ago on old epson printers, the printer would actually assume it was out of ink after a set number of prints, until it saw a new cartridge with a different chip on it.
I have no idea if this is still the case, but I wonder...0 -

The cartridge that goes in the printer for the CISS usually resets itself after a while to get around this.
Gazderry: Have you looked in the manual as to what the blue light means? The status codes on HP printers are absolute balls.0
