  • A friend just bought the Thunder. How you finding it?
  • It's funny how everytime someone mentions the Hayes Strokers it's followed by their a pile of poo. Same thing said by me. Very nice looking bike, really like the color of "Zoidy"

Hmm, I guess everyone is entitled to their beliefs. At least they've got one fan :)

I love it, its chunky at just overabout 29lbs (with my changes) but I suppose for a large 140mm bike thats not bad really and a tad flexy at the back end, but other than that Its great. I tried several bikes at BR live and found nothing that stood out as much more enjoyable to ride.

Granted mine came with a talas fork instead of the Epicon which was a nice surprise and then I changed the shock to an RP2 too. If he ever decides to change the rear shock, its a wierd system of bearings and bushings, took me a series of emails to the manufactured to find out what the score was with it.

To be fair to the strokers, ive bled them and fitted sintered pads and they aren't too bad now, not the best brakes but they're capable of stopping me which is the main thing.
