After having had a good few rides on it now i can confirm the myths of titanium - it doesn't ride it glides. So pleased with the bike it just floats over the rough country lanes...

Love ti as a frame material 8) but the leather saddle lets the whole package down i'm afraid. i'm sorry but it looks ridiculous on such a lovely bike. Needs changing mate
As i say the bike was built with all that i had left over from my old bike, including the saddle. I did have misgivings about the brooks though. Im waiting for my LBS to get a their demo specialized Romin saddle back so i can try it out for a week. However, if i don't find anything as comfy as the brooks its staying - saddles are one of the few areas on a bike where ill always put comfort above style.

I don't like it, ---- I love it, great looking bike, the welding looks quality.
As far as the saddle is concerned I'm sure it's comfy but for pics wouuld look better with something not too flashy but more modern styling. Love it though
The Romin saddle is fine on rides under 40 miles but after that it starts to get uncomfortable - i have another week of testing before i have to decide whether to keep it or not. Think i might go for a Charge Spoon...

Im pretty impressed with the wheels so far - seem quite light and stiff - test will be how durable they are. Sean at Soul Bikes was really good to deal with and constantly kept me updated during the build. Although shipping took an age they arrived very well boxed with a nice message on the outside of the packaging stating 'Fragile - If damaged customer will be PISSED'.
They offer two colours of red spokes a powder coated version (like mine) or a darker anodised version. There are loads of custom options on most of their wheels

They cost £280 including everything (Shipping, Import Duty etc) would have been cheaper had i not wanted red spokes. I certainly agree that on the whole spokes should be black or silver but against the stark titanium i fancied a splash of colour.

Minus the red spokes though, I like the wheels - if you don't mind me asking, how much did they cost with shipping and duty/VAT?
