Thinking of converting an 06 hardtail with pretty low spec drivetrain to a singlespeed for the winter. Has anyone converted a bike before and if so any chance of a quick run down of what conversion kit and/or other bits are best to use. Thanks a lot, matt

  • I did this last year with an old Claud Butler bike that I had, and while I don't have it running now (due to building a new SS), I found the following kit to be fine as a starter.
