..Tell you NEVER to use cheap tools on your bike....then give away as freebies multitools or Allen keys made by Dum Sun Bich and Sum Ting Wong in their garden shed that are made from cheese?

Stickers mag people...always a good thing.

Forget the stickers, tools, or any other cheap rubbish. Just spend the money on content.

Mm the Eco DVD in WMTB would that have not been better as a free download?

should be a vote on the mbuk section on bike radar forum for each months magazine as to what should be put in as a freebie. like 5 things to choose from? then we get what we want and also advertaise in the mag that you can go on bike radar to vote

but tbh i'd rather have occasional freebies and have a discount on teh mag or money spent on content instead, as already suggested

Not everyone has the internet so some might kick up a fuss that they are not getting what they paid for

And those that want a discount, subscribe

Yeah the free stuff is always cheap tat that goes in the bin for me, would rather have the option not to have it and get a small discount (as a subscriber). I'm not 10 years old either so the stickers end up the same way.
  • Don't you guys have toolboxes or part boxes? Refridgerators? Ideal sticker territory. Anyone who actually puts them on a bike..no never mind, nobody would do that.
The wallet was a good one, the belt made me wet my boxers a lil bit when it jammed and as for buffs, I don't have the LA gang member look to pull them off.

What would you like to see as a gifty? ( cue multiple idiots stating brakes, forks, shocks etc ).
Personally I wouldn't mind a SRAM powerlink, a couple of cable end caps, maybe some chain pins...a mini pot of lube??

Made good use of the gadgetsock that came with some mag or other...but don't ask

I think this sums up why they won't, and shouldn't change things. You can't please all of the people all the time.

I've found use for a few of their freebies over the years. Bottle opener keyrings, carabiners, watch straps and so on.
Other stuff I've just thrown away, but it doesn't really matter, since I found an use for some of it.
