How Delete stuff from garmin edge 205

Once I have imported the data into Garmin Training centre and sporttrax - how do I clear the garmin - If I delete it - it just puts it back on next time I synch ?

I have the edge 205.

To delete the data just go into the history and delete it. Either one at a time or delete all.
