Garmin look like they'll be losing the slightly goofy edge they've had the last couple of years.

I feel sorry for Danny Pate - he's been with Father Vaughters since the TIAA CREF days. I remember seeing him in the Ras a few years ago and in a long, rain soaked breakaway in the Tour of Ireland, but despite the fact he was World U-23 TT champion, he never really seemed comfortable with the transition (see what I did there?) to the top level.

Kessiakof showed some decent results with Saunier Duval but struggled this year with Garmin.

Glad he's managed to find something - even if it is Astana. Hopefully he won't have such a mare of a season next year.
