Not sure about smokes, but I've often found that duty free shops are more expensive than normal shops. Captive audience and massive mark up.
Think it's all a bit of a con.I don't do smileys.

Think it depends on the airport too.0

Might be worth checking out prices at the other end as it may be better to buy coming back rather than going out. TBH I don't bother myself, if you want loads of cheap grog and some decent savings, get on the ferry and load the car up in a Calais hypermarket."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." Fags are cheaper in the USA. 200 marlboro are about £10.
Also if you're going to somewhere like Boston take the time to shop properly, I get double gold tagged RL polo shirts and formal oxfords for bugger all. Sell them to chavs on eBay for £30+. NY is shoot and
overpriced.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Oh and you can get shades really cheap. I've got a pair of GA, not the cheapo Emporio ones for £40, the frames alone cost £250 here.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
