I assume you mean AW Cycles in Reading? They seemed like a good LBS from what I've seen having been in there a few times. I can only vouch for the sales staff, I haven't had any mechanical work done there, but the staff are very friendly and helpful. I have only bought clothing from them but they helped out with choice of shorts and base layers, and let me try everything on.

They also come recommended by DirtDivas bike school which is how we came to find them.

get good reports from my mates who've used them.
  • I had a weekend test ride of a bike with the Reading branch, they were stunningly helpful. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, should I decide to buy that bike I will definitely used them.
  • They are OK - pretty expensive for hardware and the like, a bit slow on ordering and keeping you up to date on where things are at with orders, mechanics are good and helpful, sales staff are hit and miss - the youn ginger chap is good and keen.

I havent ever been up tot he road bike bit but I hear it is good too.
