KMC Chainlink worry

Following on from the earlier thread (shimano master pin link failure) i've bought and fitted one of those KMC link doodahs.
Is it just me, or does it "feel" not as secure as the master pin link it replaces?

    As long as you pull the two ends tight then these links are as strong as normal links. In fact I've had to buy a special set of pliers to undo them again.

    They are really good. As strong as a normal link.

  • Never had one undo itself and nice and easy to pop apart and remove chain for cleaning.
