I'd never seen a post on here from Andy until the papal visit started and everything he has posted since has been about him. Anyone else wondering if he's got a secret crush going on here? Maybe just a fetish for men in dresses
  • Carol Voorderman is doing a 4 hour "warm up" show for the Pope in Hyde Park tomorrow.

Unless I'm mistaken, and I probably am, I think Ibrox is, ironically, in a fairly Catholic area. Similarly, the area around Celtic Park is predominantly Protestant.

Some Scot will put me right though.

With your love of the Pope you should get on telly as well. You could call it 'Pope Idol'

I wonder if the Pope enjoyed Subo?

I read on the Pope Radar Forum he is more of a Nick Cave fan, although not, reportedly, impressed with the new Grinderman stuff.

Tis the other way round, fella. Ibrox is the home of Rangers (protestant) and Celtic are the other lot.....

To be fair though, I'm only half scottish...

I'm fairly sure Rich realises that Rangers are protestant and Celtic are catholic. He is perhaps commenting on the irony of Ibrox being in a predominantly catholic area and Parkhead being the opposite.

No idea if this is actually the case, but surely everybody knows the religious sway of each set of supporters.

Yeah, he is right. I've only been to Glasgow once, but I had heard that each club was in an area with a majority adverse to their leanings. It appears I am probably wrong. But I certainly know which club follows which creed.
