Dura Ace 7900 Front Mech

Hi
I currently have a bike with full Ultegra 6700 compact groupset. I am looking at upgrading my frame in the near future and the frame I am considering takes a braze on front mech I currently have a band-on mech so I am going to need to swap the mech.
After looking on the Shimano site I noticed the Dura Ace mech does not need the trim function of the levers as there is no chain rub no matter what gear you are in! My question is - does this work as well as advertised and assuming it works with my Ultegra 6700 levers (which I believe it will) is it worth the extra dough (about 30 of your finest English quids over the Ultegra mech)?
Thanks

The levers control the mech if you keep the ultegra the mech will be no better as far as I understand it so you may as well stick with ultegra. By coincidence I have a little used braze on ultegra front mech with 100 miles on it as I went to full Dura Ace you can have for £15 including postage if you are interested.0
