E-bay New Road Bikes, any good?

I was searching for some Road Bikes online (brand new ones). And I saw bikes Viking Roma 2010 and VENTURA CRUZE.

My question is, are they good bikes for racing compare to likes of Specialized Allez 2010 or Raleigh Airlite 200, because they seem ver cheap for a new road bike.

    The main difference as far as I can tell is the fork - an Allez has a carbon fork, this one doesn't. And the crankset on this looks pretty cheap. If you're serious about starting cycling, go for something like the Allez, if you want an alright bike for a commute or pub bike, get the eBay one.

    They are cheap for a reason - quality of components and frame probably leave a lot to be desired!

    Might be better to look secondhand at that sort of budget - Specialized Allez/Giant Defy type range.

    I looked at the viking in a shop, the reason its cheap is because it has crap components and weighs more than my mountain bike...
