Hi, can anybody tell me if their is any difference between Trek womens and mens bike frames if they are the same respective model, or is it that the womens frame only goes up to a certain size i.e. 17.5inch.
I don't mind what they say... as long as they say its enormous

Perhaps they are different geometry. You need to check. I know that Scott male and female frames are exactly the same - only the paint job is different.0

I'd say check geometry in their charts. I'd also heard that trek wsd frames are the same geometry as the mens (it was the fuels we enquired about), but the female specific models are also available in sizes in between the mens.http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7231/6933696372_603c9ce220_b.jpg

Just had a quick scoot round the trek website and where womens bikes are offered in the same size as the mens equivalent the geometry is identical. As I thought though the womens are often offered in incremental sizes not available in the mens for some reason.
I guess womens frames would be specced with shorter stems and narrower grips and female specific saddles though making them feel a bit different.http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7231/6933696372_603c9ce220_b.jpg
