Definately worth signing up for. When I first started cycling 20 years ago this was the country's premier track and it is sad to have seen its decline. The Easter meeting got massive crowds.

Hopefully anyone can download these scanned images of the pledge form, fill one out and send it in.
The effort to save Herne Hill needs as many people as possible to pledge regular donations no matter how small so that they can show a regular income and help provide a viable business plan to show Dulwich Estates, once they can do this a 25 year lease should be granted which will then allow the funds to be released and begin the renovation and improvement of the site.

The meeting went well over 500 people turned up, most interested parties were wel represented except Dulwich Estates and Tessa Jowell MP

Southwark Council donated £25,000 to the cause, it looks like this fresh battle has more of a chance because it involves a lot of the local Dulwich and Herne Hill community not just cyclists.
A Lawyer in the audience offered his expertise to help them achieve charity status as that will allow them to claim Tax Gift Aid on money coming in from donations.

Lets hope a viable Business plan can be drawn up to allow the 25 year lease to be granted
