Very nice looking bike.
I see your point about the "Green Bolts". Definitely needs something to break up the colour scheme and green would be my first choice as well. Might also benefit from a few choice Hope bits n bobs in green.0 -
i've been looking at the mondrakers. that looks awsome0
-
Wouldn't bother with hope bits on this as it has the onoff hubs and so on, cos its a 1"5 headset can't have a hope there and hope breaks are not as good as the formulae discs it has.. what is there left for hope? hehe
But thinking of getting a 36 tooth and a bash guard and going duel ring, and some low profile flats, and maybe a salsa green seatpost clamp0 -

Got out on my first ride on the beast round Cwm last night squeezed in just before it got to dark
loved it, I was almost clearing the smaller table tops at the top with out trying(with bad back) and been feeling to chicken to try on the old spec. so that was cool far more floaty and aggressive! and it climbed plenty fine.
All in all a good day!0 -
SWEET! really nice that.I like bikes and stuff0

lovely bike 8)
was just wondering how it rides in general? i know initially you said climbs fine just wondered if your opinion had changed since?
Cheers

Alright Jay,
I still feel it climbs fine, no big issues, Bit harder work at the moment with the Duel ply DH 2.5" Swamp-Thing at the front at the moment. that things a bit weighty and draggy, but was great for some Up-lifting in the stodge.
So still loving it!0 -
ah nice to hear!!
Just wondered due to being intrested in mondrakers-admitidly the foxy though-and your the first person ive seen with one and was intrested in there zero platform.
Glad to hear its riding well and alls going good with it 8)

very nice looking bike, congrats. I rode a Mondraker Prayer and a Summum in Morzine last year and they were great, but we never tried the Dune out unfortunately. A guide out there (who rode a Turner) was saying how Mondraker had got the geometry spot on and also kept weight down well. After 3 days of riding the Prayer i was very close to making it my next bike, and between us we tried a lot of bikes out over the trip.ride your bike like a kid whilst you still can
