We all know Norfolk is flat, the riders know Norfolk is flat. So why didn't the route planners at least get the race to go up the steepest hill we've got. With no run up to it the riders may have at least found it an unexpected challange. It may also have given me the motivation to ride up to Norwich and give it a go.

todays stage will be a battle of attrition, seeing how riders deal with the boredom of riding in east anglia
