Am looking for a good website which lists the European Sportive dates for 2011.

Am thinking of Amstel Gold, Tour of Flanders, Marmotte etc.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Gez.

    Hi Gez
Have a look at a few travel companies Sporting Tours, La Fuga etc, see what trips they offer to the various European sportives, then google the ones you like the sounds of to find the specific event website - Simples

    check out

    http://www.cyclosport.org

They list all the European ones and links to the entries websites too
  • My only advice is if you want to do Flanders go for the shorter route. This avoids 125kms of some of the most boring, attritional cycling you can do and allows you to enjoy the famous cobbled climbs.

Oh, and if you do the marmotte train well (i completed it last year but only got to the Galibier this year!). It's a brute.

There are some sportives in Finland. They are listed at this site http://www.fillari-lehti.fi/perus/racing/kalenterit.asp

At the moment the calendar shows only 2010 races but some time over the winter it'll be updated. Sportives are the ones with the mark "kuntotap." at the fourth column. You can plan ahead already as they most likely will be held at the same time next year.
