New Kent road

I need to brave the new kent road to pick up some goodies from planet-x.

Is it bike friendly to just head down NKR from elephant and castle roundabout or should I be heading down the side streets? I am pretty confident on london roads but SE london is a bit terra incognito to me.

It's fine, used to live just off NKR. It's busy but no worse than other busy roads.

I do it all the time. It's a fairly busy bit of road but no worse than other busy roads in London.

Expect it'll be the DPD depot on Mandela Way, just off NKR. Been there a number of times
