Really, I mean come on?!

I went to a Catholic school and there has and still is a ban on skirt higher than knee length. It's surely not news worthy.

  • maybe because of the ruling "skirts must rise no higher than the end of the tips of fingers when the arms are placed down." don't know about you but i would still think that is really short for school.

that just like saying, you are not a slut as long as you haven't slept with 5 men in a week... 4 men is ok.. type of theory.

I really enjoyed secondary school. The uniform for the girls seemed to be a skirt as short possible, with a see through shirt, in sun, rain, or snow.

"Head teacher Denise Strutt introduced the rule that skirts must rise no higher than the end of the tips of fingers when the arms are placed down."

Could always chop a few inches off their fingers instead.

He also didn't seem to mention whether the arms are placed down on the ground, or down on the desk

  • How is a story about schoolgirls in short skirts news. I think we better leave that on to sheepsteeth.

Used to pass by Patchway High School as the kids were going in and it seemed the girls were having an unspoken game to see who could wear the shortest skirt albeit with tights. Imagine my sadness when they were wearing trousers when they started the new term in September :(
I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
  • I go a catholic school and thats happening at ours, pretty much to the word of the news. Still its a bit of crap pointless news

Unless the schoolgirls in Hereford have arms like orang-utangs that's not a very strict rule :) Besides, it will just mean they wear the really short ones when they're out on the town getting pissed
