Good Morning Freaks!
Ride in this morning was bristling with awesomeness. Even though I'd decided to take it easy today after struggling against the elements yesterday, I still managed to ride in at warp factor 8.
As I'm currently the only one in the office, I decided to take the opportunity to trim my bush. It's been looking a little unkempt since I had a week off a while back.
Also, as I like to be prepared, I have 3 bacon sandwiches (ready to be warmed in the microbing) sat in my backpack, ready to be scoffed shortly. I have a minion doing the coffee run, so all's fine and dandy on the food logistics front today.

Today will be a bit of a mixed bag.
Meeting his morning to discuss something that I have no involvement in and probably never will. Then it's off round the forest on the Merlin for a bit at lunch. Then it's another disciplinary because some of the lower minions have been 'working' for twice as long as they actually have, which unsurprisingly has been noticed by one of my direct minions and then our client.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Meant to be starting the wednesday night MTB club today, but for various reasons I am not going0 -
today i will mostly clock watching and work avoiding until about 6 ish when i will be donning the cycle gear and joining the rest of the troop at the race site for a mid week thrash around sundays race circuit. YAY
other than that i'm guessing iplayer, youtube, facbook etc will be regular use.0 -
another hectic day, currently mid moving house (the removal guys should get finished today and we complete tomorrow), problems with getting the car though the MOT so that's still at the garage  i hate cars, couldn't ride into work as the bike are locked in the new garage and i don't have the key  oh, and i've got lots of work piling up.
on the plus side I have a 456 frame, bars, rear mech, brakes and chainset sitting in boxes next to my desk. CRC order should arrive today. unfortunately I can't really start the build until superstar process my order which includes the headset (oh, and we get ourselves sorted in the new house  )
EDIT
oh, and my new iphone is due to arrive today! haven't bothered with a new phone for years so this is quite exciting.FCN 9 - 2008 Kona Cinder Cone

Vegas will drink your money faster than a wino in tesco. My sensible side says 'I'd wait until next year and buy the 29er in the sales, nobody will be buying £3k full suss bikes in this climate', the evil side says 'the wife and kids can have traditional presents, lump of coal and an orange, I'm buying this now'Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.

Got up early to take my new hub to the LBS to be built up. Then got into work earlier than usual to mix more episodes of a cartoon.
Currently I'm drinking my morning brew and avoiding work for a bit by reading the forum.0 -

Good Morning,
Woke up to a random but lovely voicemail from my Grandparents in Cyprus.
Just trying to muster up the will to go out now to return my library books, and then I have to go order some new prescription goggles.0 -

Morning all,
Blue skies this morning, but rather chilly when 1st walked out the front door. I think soon just wearing a t-shirt on the ride in is not going to cut it.
Took a risk last night and watched an old 80’s film that as a kid I thought was cool, Gleaming the Cube. Essentially BMX Bandits but on skateboards. Obviously it looked rather cheesy and the cuts between Christian Slater and the “real” skater were a bit awful, but it did the job of making me feel like a kid again.
Coffee has been consumed, biscuits are still a work in progress. I reckon the reason I’ve been eating so much lately is that I’m subconsciously building up my layer of “insulation” for the winter, this is what I will be telling myself and others anyway.
Is it 5 yet?"I ride to eat"0 -
Morning gang, epic man flu fail, so no work for me today, still been ages since I've had a sick day.
I plan to do very little today other than sleep and drink hot vimto, possibly have a dvd fest0 -

yep, bought 2 long sleeved (visible from mars) tops, it's all so tragic.0

I was looking at the Aldi rain jacket in "Oh my good lord yellow" that theyre doing tomorrow, could be handy for the winter commute. Just acquired a "You've been Tango'd Orange" cyclimg jersey, think it was from Sport and Soccer.
I'd been toying with the idea of getting the brother to respray my commuter in "Oh my good lord yellow" but I'm a little worried that if I strip the bike down it may well fall apart. It kinda looks like the dried dirt and the force is holding it together."I ride to eat"0 -
I bought a Karrimor "You've been Tango'd" Orange jacket from Trek & Field at the start of the year - only £20 in the sales. It is very waterproof and very warm, just not that breathable...0
-
I also have one of those "overdose on Sunny D" Jackets. by not that breatheable, you mean, not breatheable at all surely, El Cap. I'm usually soaked in warmness when I've finished riding in that0

Sound's about right. I commute wearing it in the winter with just a base layer underneath. I have to bring a spare base layer for the journey home as the other one's completely soaked...0 -

Indeed it was, didn't have much of a role though. At the beginning of the film the kids are putting a load of skating stickers up, 1 of which was a Tony Hawk sticker."I ride to eat"0
