Hi all

Finally got our bikes back from storage now the house is off the market and we both want to start doing something a bit different to the normal road usage.

Does anyone have any suggestions on nice, easy for beginners, off road routes that me and the mrs could have a bash at in or around Loughborough, Leics?

Thanks

Rob

  • hi, i m from leicestershire and have done loads of routes in and around the county. a couple to consider as easy rides are staunton harold through lount woods and onto ashby.also there is a new circular route at conkers ,in the national forest which is ideal.further afield you can have great days out at sherwood forest and rutland water.

Have a look in 'Rides' and 'Routes' - probably people in your area will let you join them and show you places.

no probs, you will enjoy this. me and the mrs have been a few times ,good day out. if you do the full circuit you have the option of 16 or 23 miles and also two very good bike shops at whitwell and normanton to browse around on route with plenty of cafe stops as well.have a good day :)
