BBB TorqueFix Wrench

Just taken delivery of a torque wrench, BBB marque, but it appears to have arrived without its "click" :!:
It seems to be a well-made piece of kit but no matter how much I try I just don't hear its "click". The instructions are clear enough with regard to adjusting the settings except they refer to the "rattle" setting when I think they mean "ratchet".
I have even mounted one of the larger hex's in the vice to test it and using the lowest settings but still no good!
Anyone have experience of this?
I am familiar with this type of tool and what it does and certificates inside the box say it has passed with an accuracy of +/- 4% so have I got a dud or do I need a hearing aid ?
Anyone please, thanks.

Be nice to all cyclists - you may want to borrow a pump one day :-)

OK sorted. Not so much a "click" but more "a little free movement" :?

My BBB torque wrench makes a click then there's that 'free movement' you describe.
And the calibration certificate with mine had the same +/-4%...no over-torquing yet!0
