MTFU!
Good Morning all you freaky people!
30mph tailwind you say? You'll throw in driving rain as well for free? Bargain!
Yeah, commute in today was a little "interesting" to say the least...had to stick the lights on! I'm going to grovelling on the way home though against the wind.
Obviously on a morning like this, something warm and bacon related needs to be consumed. I shall phone a minion to get provisions on her way in. Might have to be McD's, but it's better than nothing.0 -
Properly peeing it down here too. Gotta zooooooom across town later and pick up my car, then drive most of the way down the country. Thankfully, it's a small country.0
-
hell of a windy cross the Severn. Got quite gusty near the ends
Saw a load of TOB team cars coming out of Bristol too. Proper blingy bikes atop the cars, one of them beeped at me too (as if to say, 'Alright there fellow cyclist' rather than 'Get on the pavement').0 -
morning gang, was off to Llandegla this morn, but that has been shelved due to rain, man flu and the fct my mate text me at midnight to say he was stuck in brum cos the m6 was shut lol
so instead going to have a blast around here and see what pearls I can find in the locale, should be fun still, then perhaps go and hit a few golf balls later to round the day up. I'm really getting back into playing golf at the moment
other than that, i might go back to bed for an hour, i've no reason to be up yet0 -
Today will be full of meh. Forgot to pack my stuff last night so no lunch time ride.
But holy moly it's windy here. I experienced quite a bit of 'lift' going over the orwell bridge.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
mornin
Shite morning as a close friend passed away last night But at least the pain has stopped for her. Should have gone to the pub rather than work0 -
woke up early this morning and went to the gym for an hour before work. i've now got to do some heavy lifting and getting kit ready for a job i have on for the rest of the week.
weather's poo aswell....how bad were the conditions on the m4 today? ah well at least i don't live in pakistan0 -
-
Weather's crap here too. My feline meteorologist, Milo refused to exit the dry comforts of the house this morning too.
b]El Capitano[/b]
I am not a McD fan either, but there's something about those bacon & egg McMuffins..
We have a canteen at work and I foresee a bacon bap on a plate for breakfast, in the canteen sadly as we're not allowed to eat at our areas of work.0 -
was contemplating an early ride before work but looked at the wind gusts, rain didn't bother me much, and there isn't a hoping hell of cycling and making head way in that and the last time i battled a head wind for 90% of the loop , the fucker followed me.
so i'm not going out on a bike today0 -

Sorry to hear that buddy, my thoughts are with you and your friends family..
Not much of a morning here, very overcast, but rode in as usual. Works the same, the new girl, who I can only describe as Vicky Pollard-esque, is slowly destroying the minimal brain cells I have left, trying to train her is like trying to train a monkey (her favourite things are Katie Price, and colouring in.. she's 19..) (and no, you wouldn't want to have a go on her, trust me).
At least it's my Friday though, got the rest of the week off, as the (may as well be) mum-in-law is on her way from Spain, so will be trying to sneak out for plenty of rides!!0 -
not really windy or rainy here? but i am stuck in the bunker until 6.30 and then will be pleeding my case to the wife that i "need" to get out for a ride in the wet muddy woods
my box from wiggle turned up yesterday, 4 things bothered me about this.
1 no harribo
2 only 1 set of gear cables when i'm sure i asked for 2
3 the wife didnt phone me to say the box had arrived
4 the suppliment i really wanted to try out this week is on back order! :evil:0 -
Wiggle only send haribo when they're in stock it seems, and they don't get that many in stock. I've had them about half the time from there.
Your suppository can wait, you dno't need to try it this week.0 -

I've never had haribo from wiggle, I think the only free thing I've ever had from them was the upgrade of my fork on the Thunder from a Suntour Epicon to a Fox Talas.
I want Haribo0 -
i have never had any either, big orders or small, i think its rumers they put out there in tinterwebland so we are duped into ordering shiney objects from them?0
-

Don’t bother sneaking out, if you’re really brave you could ask your other half to join in!
Morning all,
“Hello, planet earth maintenance department? Yeah, the sun appears to be broken in the UK, can you have a look at it please? Yes, I know you’re still trying to fix that leak in Pakistan but could you have a quick look?”
I have a headache, I have no drugs to rid me of my headache, I’m hoping caffeine will rid me of my headache.
I think today may well be a slow 1, I have intentions of going for a pootle tonight, those intentions feel a long way away.
Is it 5 yet?"I ride to eat"0 -

No, went for the "super-size" coffee for £2.25.
And as this is 5p cheaper than a bucket of latte from Caffe Nero's, I feel a change in my patronage coming along.0 -

Just dobnt let them do what Greggs in Brum did, the latte bit weren't working, so I said I'd have tea instead, then they got the latte working again, when I got onto my train with my coffe, there was a tea bag floating in it, I had a tatte or a lea, or a toffee or any other jedwardisations as you can make of the two0 -

North Wales the same as Kaiiirrrdddiiff.
Wet, windy, and a lot colder than it's been for months.
Now, the main news items once again...0 -

I know you don't mean it in that respect, but the other half has just bought a bike, so shall be taking her out on her first 'proper' off road ride tomorrow morning, before the in-law arrives!! I'm pretty excited!0
