Hey
I've found some shimano MTB shoes at a decent price in my size however lots of posts around them seem to say go for a size bigger - has anyone else experienced this.
I'm a 12 (47) if thats of any use to help?
thanks
DF

not really.
get you feet into a few and get the best snug fitting.
I generally get the same size as normal after trying on a few for feel.
but i do have different sized feet and odd toes."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I went to my local bike store to try on a few shoes and managed to know which size to order online. Got my new shoes today, Shimano MT32 shoes and also ordered M520 pedals.0

I would feel a bit too cheeky trying them on in the LBS then buying online.

See if your lbs will price match? Some profit is better than no profit.
I ended up going for what is half a size smaller in Shimano shoes to get a nice snug fit. I read all this "get one size up" and found there was too much heal movement even though the length felt okay with the normal shoe buying approach. No substitute for trying them on.0 -
worth bearing in mind that if you want them for winter aswell you'll need the extra size for thicker socks!!
shimano shoes are generally quite a narrow fit too,Timmo.
